A New Show for The Lucky Chance this Christmas
Following two treasured years of Christmas shows at The Lucky Chance, our Somerset home, we’re delighted to be returning this festive season. This year, Emma adapts and directs the Dylan Thomas classic A Child's Christmas in Wales.

The Emma Rice Company (formally Wise Children) is the theatre company created and led by multi-award-winning director Emma Rice .
We make ground-breaking work with exceptional artists and tour it across the UK and internationally. We run a unique professional development programme, The Wise Children Training Programme, nurturing a new and more diverse generation of theatre practitioners.
We’re also working to transform touring theatre in the UK, challenging outmoded models and discovering the creative spaces of the future.
Emma Rice Company is the new name for Wise Children.
